COVID-19 Update

To help reduce the potential spread of infection to staff and vulnerable patients, we ask that everyone contacts the surgery by phone first. Please do not come to the surgery unless you have been told to do so.

The doctors have asked that you give the receptionists as much detail about your problem as possible for example:

Symptoms:

How long you have had the symptoms

What self-care measures you have taken for the problem (have you tried over the counter medications)

The doctors will assess your problem and either:

Phone you back directly,  OR

The receptionist will call you back with the relevant advice from the doctor

PLEASE ENSURE THAT WE HAVE YOUR CORRECT CONTACT PHONE NUMBER

Repeat prescriptions – in the first instance we ask that patients use the online ordering system. This is a very convenient way of ordering your medication at any time of the day.

If you have been asked to come to the surgery please ring the bell and a member of the admin team will be with you as soon as possible. The staff are very busy with calls and may not be able to answer the door immediately, we would appreciate  your consideration in this matter. On occasions, patients may be asked to wait in their cars to avoid over-crowding in the surgery.

Patients dropping off clinic letters, lab samples  or collecting letters (not prescriptions) can use the window- hatch which is located to the left of the side door into the surgery.

Face coverings should be worn at all times inside the building.
